Life coaches are trained in helping clients achieve goals, overcome challenges and make changes in their life. Think of a life coach as a guide but you control the outcome. The benefit of life coaching is that it focuses on exactly what you want to achieve and helps you get there sooner. The tools and techniques life coaching teaches you will help you become more result-orientated and goal-directed in your goal achievement.

The biggest difference between life coaching and therapy is in their training and overall focus. Life coaches are often seen as professional mentors with a future-focused mindset in helping clients move towards setting and accomplishing life goals. Therapy is often focused on reexamining past events in the hopes of getting to the root cause, diagnosing mental health issues or exploring past trauma. Life coaches cannot diagnose or offer medical advice for mental health challenges.

Our program is designed to take place over the course of six sessions which usually takes about six weeks. Our program  is designed with the challenges of athletes making the transition from active player to retirement. Therefore, preselected topics are already planned out within the program while also leaving ample room to customize the program to each client’s individual needs.

Our program runs for six weeks and generally meets once a week for a 60 minute video call. Guidance in navigating obstacles and help with setting attainable goals will be the main focus of the program. Downloadable material to help reinforce topics taught during meetings along with encouragement and personalized strategies can also be expected.

As Adrian is a former professional athlete, he specializes in coaching other athletes regardless of sport or highest level of playing. The needs and challenges of athletes are unique and often overlooked by those who haven’t experienced the world of professional sports personally. Helping athletes make the transition from current to retired athlete is something Adrian feels especially passionate about.

Yes! Any athlete from any sport can participate. This program is also applicable to any level of playing from high schoolers to payed professionals both in the United States and abroad. The main focus is on learning to live your best life after your time playing sports ends.
